Heritage

In November of 1993, Bishop Rick Hawkins founded Family Praise Center of San Antonio and gave home to a vision birthed by God "To Equip The Family For Ministry." Having begun with a congregation of less than 60 people, FPC attributes what has now grown to be one of the most impacting churches in our region to our heritage of integration, innovation and intensity. Through all of the ministries and organizations that we either operate or support, it is evident that our community and city will never be the same. Part of FPC's vision in the near future is to build a sanctuary to seat over 5000 people. We also see in our future 12 satellite churches planted all over San Antonio. In June of 2005, we initiated that plan by planting Family Praise Center Eastside. We look forward to sending out of this congregation missionary families that are fully supported by this house. In short, the best is yet to come. God has great things yet in store for San Antonio and we are excited to be a part of the unfolding of his plan. We are just as excited about the potential for your involvement in this vision. Our prayers are that God speaks to you about becoming connected to this house.
